Miguel Angel Zotto
was born on August 7th 1958, in Vicente López, Buenos Aires. He comes from a pure “tanguera” family, with working class roots.
Miguel grows up listening tango music with his grandparent, who was a tango dancer, and the father, who was an actor and a tango dancer too. Zotto is an argentinian dancer, elected one of the three biggest tango performer of all time.
A part of his family in Argentina comes from Campomaggiore, a little country from Basilicata region in Italy.
Miguel starts studying tango to become a professional tango dancer when he’s only 17, his first teacher was Rodolfo Dinzel in 1979. Rodolfo hosts Miguel in his school, bringing him in best milongas in Buenos Aires until 1985.
In 1984, Zotto starts teaching tango in Belgrano University of Buenos Aires and he enters professional career the following year thanks to his Broadway partecipation, where he obtains a role in Tango Argentino by Segovia and Orezzoli, which allow him to travel the world.
In 1988, he founds Tango x 2 Company.
Tango X2 received Best Dance Company nomination in England on 2006, Miguel Ángel Zotto was elected one of three biggest tango performer of the century in April 2000 and he was nominated Academico from National Tango Academy in Buenos Aires.

Daiana started dancing tango when she was very young, after a period of study in argentinian folkloristic dance.
From 2007, Daiana dances in pairs with Miguel Angel Zotto, becoming lead dancer in all TangoX2 Company shows, exhibitions in major festivals and international events and, as teacher, in Masterclass, seminaries, stages e courses.

Daiana Guspero managed to bring her elegance, her sensuality and passional expressiveness in the biggest Buenos Aires theaters in little time, and also on most prestigious european stages, until major venues in Asia, China and Japan.
From 2012, Daiana co-founded Zotto Tango Academy, an Argentinian Tango European Academy, Milano based, where she teaches tango, milonga and vals in addition to argentinian folkloristic dance.
